The Tile Shop - We especially love their Imperial Bianco line of glossy white ceramic tiles. There are tons of trim pieces that coordinate with classic subway tiles - and every conceivable size of bullnose tile to neatly finish your edges.

Floor & Decor - This national brand stocks a comprehensive range of affordable tiles, including several very nice marble and travertine options. Their 12"x24" porcelain floor tiles offer a particularly great value. 

Mercury Mosaics - If you are searching for a unique yet timeless accent for your kitchen, bathroom, or fireplace surround, this is a great option. They offer hand made clay tiles crafted in the USA in a beautiful array of colors and shapes.

Porcelanosa - The place to shop for a beautiful accent wall or super large-format floors. Check out their FACES series for some 3-D drama. 

CLE Tile - If you're interested in the cement tile trend, look no farther. They also carry hand made terra cotta tiles. 

Lowe's - Not a huge selection, but they do have a particularly economical line of subway tile. 

LIghting + Ceiling Fans

Bellacor - They carry a whole range of home goods, but we especially like their lighting selections. They tend to have trendy stiles at affordable prices and are easy to search. 

Lumens - Another store with lighting plus everything else for the home. This is a great place to shop if you have a Transitional or Modern style.

Schoolhouse Electric - If you have a Modern Farmhouse, Mid-Century Modern, Refined Industrial, or Pared-down Scandi aesthetic, this is the place to get your lights.

High Street Market - Not a huge selection, but they have the best sconces. Plus they have a well curated selection of rugs and wool throws. 


Graham & Brown - I am not much of a fan of patterned wallpaper. As beautiful as the pattern is, it will date your home faster than an inscribed cornerstone. I do love this range of textured an plain papers though. They add durability and are great for a laundry room, playroom, or foyer that gets a lot of use. 

Sherwin Williams - I love their range of colors. Plus, they have great coverage, some mighty fine sales, and a handy paint calculator

The Shade Store - They have a gorgeous array of natural window coverings including blinds, drapes, including a motorized collection. Now how great would that be?

Just Blinds - For great blinds, shades, and shutters on a budget, this is your place to go. 


Lumber Liquidators - They're just about everywhere and they have great prices on wood and wood-look products. 

The Perfect Rug - Your rug, your way. Select the size, material, color and binding. Add a non-slip backing or cushioned rug pad. Truly, perfect.

Lowe's - We shop at Lowe's a lot. They may have a smaller selection than Home Depot, but they make up for it with great customer service and a vast online catalog.
